Taiwan Health & SenCare 2010: Show Report
The “Taiwan Health and SenCare 2010” were jointly held for the first time from June 24 to 27 at Taipei World Trade Center Exhibition Hall 1. With the rapid increase of the aged population, the increasing importance of health and medicine has seen strong growth in the healthcare industry. Chen Bin, the Chairman of the Taiwan Medical and Biotech Industrial Association, noted that the Taiwanese medical devices industry grew by 7 to 8% in 2009 despite the global financial crisis. This is proof that the quality and sophistication of Taiwanese medical devices is recognized around the world.
